# Pulse Tweaks 1.1.0 Preview

## Added
- Explicit Enable / Disable controls for Game Mode and Game Bar capture.
- Reviewed gaming preset: Game Mode on, capture off, Balanced plan. All baselines saved before writes; failed actions attempt verified rollback to pre-preset values.
- Per-user startup entry management with original-command backups. Does not close processes, execute commands, manage services or modify machine-wide startup entries.
- Before/after frame-time CSV import, average FPS, slowest-1% low FPS, nearest-rank p99 frame time, and JSON comparison export.
- Exportable local diagnostic report and a read-only Windows platform check.

## Fixed
- Validate an existing backup before allowing another change.
- Roll back partial registry restores, not only partial applies.
- Recover the previous active power scheme after a failed power switch.
- Disable unavailable power-plan buttons; report real On / Off / default / mixed state.
- Keep useful hardware scan sections if one Windows query fails; time out stalled scans.
- Rank default gateways by route plus interface metric.
- Reset stale ping labels at test start; local probe errors no longer count as network packet loss.
- Restore all and console recovery include startup backups.
- Stage installer executable writes before replacement, block downgrades, and avoid replacing unrelated shortcuts.
- Clear stale launch logs at launch. Preserve existing application data during upgrades.

## Release status
Unsigned preview. Automated logic and mock failure tests ran on Linux PowerShell;
Windows WPF, registry, powercfg, COM shortcuts, installation and game behavior still
require testing on real Windows systems. No performance gains are claimed.
